ABOUT THE ARTIST - Abby Benner has always loved miniatures. However, it wasn't until her daughter wanted a dollhouse for Christmas one year that she became involved in making miniatures. She quickly found an aptitude for working on the landscaping and a burning desire to create ever more flowers and plants. Quickly the small area she had planned for a garden grew to a large, wrap around garden, fully landscaped yard including a pond, and took over the entire dinning room table. All too soon her daughter's dollhouse was finished, but Abby was not ready to stop working on miniature plants. That is what started a quest for new plants and flowers that she could create in miniature. That soon blossomed into Mini-Quest, her personal adventure in seeking new flora to create with paper, glue, wire, paint, love and patience. Each item is hand crafted and unique, whether designed from her own laser cut sheets, or hand punched, so no two items will ever be exactly alike. Feel free to inquire about custom orders! |
